Oleander roots easily, even in water, but every part of this plant is highly toxic — wear gloves when cutting, wash hands thoroughly afterward, and keep cuttings well away from pets and children throughout rooting.

Water propagation

  1. Wearing gloves, cut a 4–6 inch section.
  2. Remove lower leaves.
  3. Place in water, bright light.
  4. Change water weekly.
