Desert rose has a milky sap like Euphorbia and needs the same care. Let cuttings dry and callus for a full week — longer than typical succulents — since the thick swollen stems hold extra moisture that slows sealing.

- Wearing gloves, cut a 4–6 inch section.
- Blot the sap until it stops.
- Let dry and callus about a week.
- Insert into dry, very well-draining succulent mix.
- Water sparingly.
